Ahhh!
I have one week until my PC interview! Ahhh. So nervous. This is kind of it in my mind. If I don't get nominated its over. I'm not worried too much about getting medically cleared its just a process. But, you need to the nomination to go anywhere! So wish me luck, because I probably won't post again until after the New Year maybe even after the interview I have a busy week ahead of me. Luckily it will keep my from stressing.
For instance I'm leaving in the next half hour to go to the Terps Basketball game tonight with all my friends! (and the reason I'm leaving 2 1/2 hours early is because College Park traffic B L O W S.
Hope everybody whose reading (if anyone does actually read this) has a great New Years.

Yeah, some people are reading your journal.
You'll do fine in the interview if you read some of the blogs regarding the experiences of others and the typical questions asked.
In the same boat... I have my interview on Monday :) Good luck!
Good luck! I had a good recruiter, so the interview was my favorite part of the process. Don't be surprised if it takes a while to hear if you are nominated or not after the interview- but follow up with them if you don't hear so that you know what's going on.
I interviewed last November and was nominated (3 months later) to leave around February- now I'm not leaving until April/May/June (still not invited) but I think it will be worth the wait. It might have been unusual how long it took me to get nominated (my recruiter left his job), but my overall timeline is somewhat average- hope that's not depressing! Again, I think the experience will be worth the wait!
Thanks guys!
Good luck! Looking forward to hear where/what you're nominated for :)
Good Luck. Hey i am waiting on an invitation and i am from Greenbelt MD, Graduated from Eleanor Roosevelt High 2006 (the one in Greenbelt not DC). Are you from Maryland or you just went to school there. Keep me updated on your interview, it is good to follow blogs that the person lives around your area.
