More waiting ... what a shocker!
So I haven't updated you guys in a while. I've been working with my placement officer on a plan for me to gain a little bit more construction experience and now I'm finally cleared for placement!
Now I'm just waiting for an invitation that he said he definitely wants to give me its just that he said that they are currently assessing their programmatic needs for 2012, so it could be some time before he knows what positions will be available (including those departing January-March and later).

Yay waiting...not really. :) I agree, we are totally in the same boat, and gaining patience is a good thing, right? Can't wait to hear where you get placed, will send good thoughts your way about getting a country placement you a really excited about. :D
Exciting! This part is seriously the worst - after getting cleared I had I think close to 2 months of being cleared for service but waiting for an invitation! Just think positively, and remember - you are SO CLOSE! Good luck!
