I have an Invitation, but the Waiting isn't Over Yet!
It's been 2 weeks since I got my invitation to Paraguay. In that time I've read through the entire Welcome Book (at least 3 times), applied for my PC passport and visa, submitted my updated resume and aspiration statement and read as much as I could find about Paraguay.
But, now I've gotten to the point that there is not much I can do until I get closer to my departure. And so once again I am waiting. Yes, I am happy that I have this time to spend with my friends and family and do those things that I will miss while I am gone. BUT I am also SO ready to leave, to start this adventure.

Hey! I saw your blog on the Peace Corps blogs page (which I have been reading obsessively since getting my invitation). I'm leaving feb 8 for Paraguay too! I'm a rural health and sanitation extensionist. I have known since mid august, and I can tell you the waiting doesn't get any easier. haha looking forward to meeting you in a few months!

Tell me about it, I don't think a day goes by when I don't read Peace Corps blogs. I'm looking forward to meeting you too! Hopefully the time goes by quick enough for both of us :)
